How EasyVisit collects, uses, and protects your information · POPIA-aligned
EasyVisit (operated by TST Software (Pty) Ltd) collects and processes your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Visitor name, contact number, and (optionally) photograph.
- Host name, contact number, and unit number.
- Visit times, access codes, and vehicle registration where provided.
- Guard shift start/end times and check-in/out actions.
Why we collect it
To manage visitor access at the property, maintain a security register, and comply with applicable safety and compliance requirements.
How long we keep it
Visit records are retained for 12 months. Visitor photographs (if captured) are retained for 90 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
Who we share it with
Your information is accessible to the property administrator and to EasyVisit (as the system operator) solely for the purpose of providing this service. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Visit My Data Rights or email privacy@easyvisit.app to exercise your rights.
